Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Shimla
  • Morning Arrive in Shimla by road or train. Check-in at your hotel and freshen up. Have breakfast and relax after your journey.

    Afternoon Lunch: Enjoy local cuisine at a nearby restaurant. Visit the Mall Road: A must-visit spot for shopping, souvenirs, and enjoying the scenic views. You can visit places like: Christ Church Scandal Point Ridge

    Kali Bari Temple: A famous temple near Mall Road.

    Evening Jakhoo Temple: Head to the Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, perched on the Jakhoo Hill offering panoramic views of Shimla. You can either hike or take a cable car. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kufri and Mashobra Excursion
  • Morning Breakfast: Start your day with a hearty breakfast. Kufri: A short 30-minute drive from Shimla, visit Kufri. Famous for its scenic beauty and adventure activities like: Horse riding to Mahasu Peak Skiing (in winter) or Yak rides Visit Kufri Fun World, which has an amusement park and a zoo.

    Afternoon Mashobra: Continue your journey to Mashobra (another 10 km from Kufri). It's a serene place away from the hustle and bustle of Shimla. You can enjoy a picnic or leisurely walk through the pine forests. Explore apple orchards if visiting in the right season. Lunch: Stop at a local restaurant or carry your own packed lunch.

    Evening Return to Shimla and relax at your hotel or explore the Lakkar Bazaar for wooden handicrafts and souvenirs. Dinner: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3: Local Sightseeing & Departure
  • Morning After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit the Viceregal Lodge (also known as the Indian Institute of Advanced Study), which is steeped in history. Shimla State Museum: If you're interested in local art and culture, visit the Shimla State Museum.

    Afternoon Lunch: Have lunch at a local café before your departure. You can also visit the Tara Devi Temple or spend some time strolling on the Ridge one last time before leaving.

    Evening Begin your return journey from Shimla.
