Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lansdowne

  • Morning: Arrival at Lansdowne (preferably early morning, around 8-9 AM). Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. Breakfast at a local café or your hotel.

    Late Morning to Afternoon: Visit Bhulla Lake: Enjoy boating in this serene, man-made lake surrounded by pine trees. St. Mary’s Church: Explore this historic church with beautiful architecture. Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Garhwali lunch at a local restaurant.

    Afternoon: Tip-in-Top: A scenic spot with panoramic views of the Garhwal hills, great for photography and relaxation. Darwan Singh Museum: Learn about the history of the Garhwal Rifles and see interesting exhibits from the Indian Army.

    Evening: Sunset Point at Santoshi Mata Temple: Hike to the temple for a breathtaking sunset over the valley. Dinner at your hotel or explore local restaurants in Lansdowne town.

    Overnight Stay: Lansdowne.

Day 2: Lansdowne to Jim Corbett National Park

  • Early Morning: Check out from Lansdowne and head to Jim Corbett National Park (about 3.5-4 hours drive). Breakfast en route.

    Late Morning: Arrival at Jim Corbett and check-in at the resort. Relax and enjoy the nature around you.

    Afternoon: Lunch at the resort. Jungle Safari (Dhikala or Bijrani Zone): Experience the thrill of spotting wildlife like tigers, leopards, elephants, and more.

    Evening: Corbett Falls: A beautiful small waterfall for relaxation and photography. Garjia Devi Temple: Situated on a rock in the middle of the Kosi River, this is a scenic and spiritual place to visit.

    Dinner: Back at the resort.

    Overnight Stay: Jim Corbett National Park.

Day 3: Jim Corbett to Almora (Jageshwar Caves)

  • Early Morning: Optional Morning Jungle Safari (If you’re a wildlife enthusiast). Check out after breakfast and depart for Almora (approx. 3.5-hour drive).

    Late Morning to Afternoon: Arrival in Almora and check-in at your hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant or hotel.

    Afternoon: Jageshwar Caves: Explore this ancient temple complex, which is a cluster of more than 100 stone temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The complex is set in a peaceful pine forest area and is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

    Evening: Stroll around Almora town or visit Bright End Corner for a scenic sunset view. Shopping at Almora Bazaar: Explore the local handicrafts, especially the famous copperware, and pick up some souvenirs.

    Dinner: Back at the hotel or explore local eateries serving traditional Kumaoni food.

    Overnight Stay: Almora.

Day 4: Departure

  • Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Katarmal Sun Temple, a beautiful ancient temple near Almora.

    ELate Morning to Afternoon: Check out and depart for your onward journey. You can either head to Kathgodam (nearest railway station) or Pantnagar (nearest airport) for your departure.

    End of Trip.
